2006: Crimson Trace announces a new line of distinctly patterned Lasergrips to customize various popular handguns in the marketplace. Rich, wood-grained Lasergrips will be available soon to dress up your full-size or compact 1911 and a RealTree Hardwoods Green HD? version for the K, L, or N-frame S&W revolvers.
The Pro-Custom Lasergrips are stock Lasergrips that have a custom pattern imparted on them using a proprietary process. This process changes the finish of the Lasergrips to either a rich burlwood for the 1911 platform or a realistic camouflage pattern for the larger S&W revolvers. 1911?s are some of the most customized guns so it simply made sense to make a custom Lasergrip to enhance the look and performance of the 1911. The camouflage pattern on the large frame revolvers reinforce the message behind what the HogHunter? series of Lasergrips is for, hunting. Hunters and collectors alike will now have that extra something that makes their ?safe-queen? or ?old reliable? just that much more special and dependable.
Patented Lasergrips, the world?s only grip-integrated laser sight system, incorporate a laser sight and pressure-sensitive activation switch in the ergonomically designed grip. These Lasergrips utilizes an activation switch that is located in the front of the grip, activating the laser?s bright, steady beam when the firearm is held in a normal firing grip. No other laser sighting system has this ?instinctive activation? feature. Lasergrips are fully adjustable for windage and elevation, precision engineered to exacting specifications, and made in the U.S.A. using the highest quality components and craftsmanship.
The burlwood styled LG-401-P1 fits all full-size 1911?s while the LG-404-P1 fits the officer, compact and defender versions of the 1911.
