Crimson Trace announces a new model of Lasergrips, the LG-438, for the SIG SAUER SIG-PRO line of handguns (SIG 2009, the SIG 2340, and the SIG 2022). Scheduled for availability early in 2006, the new Lasergrip continues Crimson Trace?s support for the high-quality line of SIG pistols.
The instinctive laser activation of these Lasergrips is activated by pressure switch located on the front strap of the grip. The strong, steady beam is as powerful as the law allows and has at least twice the battery life as its nearest competitor. You simply grip the firearm in a normal shooting grip and the solid, steady laser beam is activated. Slightly relaxing the grip turns off the laser. This grip-integrated feature is standard in all Lasergrips.
While some lasers are not adjustable, the LG-438, as well as all other Lasergrips, is user-adjustable for both windage and elevation, just like a high-end scope. All Lasergrips are sighted for 50 feet at the factory, but can be user-zeroed to any point of aim via the windage and elevation adjustment screws.
The ease of installation is yet another advantage over the competition. Simply remove the grip screw holding the stock grip panels on and mount the new Lasergrip on the grip. Replace the stock grip screw and you are ready to utilize your new laser sighting system. The simplicity of Lasergrips grip-integrated design offers the peace of mind that no internal parts of the firearm have been replaced with aftermarket parts, as some other manufacturers require.
