The new Quick Change slip leads allows you to change weights or remove them in seconds without having to cut your line. The leads have a slot in the side for easy line access and a small plastic bushing that goes on your line and locks in place to block the slot off . Now you don't have to have those weights banging your rods or hooks flying dangerously loose. Most folks tend to do their rigging while on shore to save time while out on the water. The problem comes in when you get in bumpy seas , it's hard to control the weights on your line.
All sorts of tying and wrapping techniques have come into play to stop the weights from swinging wildly about. With the Quick Change Leads you can add your weight in seconds once you arrive at your spot and remove them just as quick.
Works great for trolling also, you don't even have to reel your line in if you decide you want to add some weight. The same bushing fits all leads so you can change Quick Change Slip Leads come 6 to a pack and are available in sizes 2,3,4,6,8,10 and 12 .
